Description

The Mitsubishi FX3U-485-BD Modbus communication module is a communication board for RS485 connected to the base unit of the FX3U series programmable Logic controller (PLC) that can be used for the following applications.

+N: N Network: With this module user can Eight (8) FX Series PLCs connecting for Data transferring.

+Parallel Link: Data transfer between two PLCs specifying the master/slave station relationship.

+Computer Link: Data transfer between PLC and computer (specified as master station) through dedicated protocol.

+Non-protocol Contact: Serial communication between PLC and RS-485 devices via non-protocol

+Inverter Communication: Mitsubishi’s FREQROL inverter control using Inverter communication instructions.

The expansion board FX3U-485-BD cannot be connected to the FX3UC series Programmable Logic Controller (PLC)

FX3UC-32MT-LT (-2). Only 1 expansion board can be used per main CPU unit, Additional expansion boards such as FX3U-232-BD, FX3U-422-BD or FX3U 485-BD cannot be installed/used together with FX3U-485-BD.
